Okay I want to installed this new version of firefox in Porteus. I am simply using this as a learning exercise. This is the file I have now can someone point me to a step by step article or provide me with step by step instructions on what to do next.

Could someone give me a run down on how to convert the the older SLAX modules to PORTEUS modules within Porteus.

I would like to recommend that the site provide a custom build feature as found on the SLAX site. This would make using PORTEUS on CD and DVD much smoother for newbies like me and other impatient people.

My wifi now shows as enabled on my keyboard. I do get an error message though "could not get status from WPA-Supplicant." The scan never finds any networks. This is progress though so I am happy.

Okay not to sound like a total retard, but do I have to create those direcotires but I cannot find them on my flash drive I have two directories boot and porteus I have explored both folders no lib anywhere.

Can I load SLAX modules in PORTEUS and if so how? I am a fresh install on a new HP Laptop testing it. I also need to know how to manually install drivers. I have my wifi drivers from the manufacturer now what do I do with them. I am a total newbie so be gentle.
