Feeling trapped in windows? Porteus is a great way to try out a different operating system without fear of hurting your current OS. Install Porteus to a USB device and set yourself free! Installing Porteus to USB takes only seconds and you can boot from USB and find your self in a new environment. It's a great way to make the trasnsition from Windows to Linux. After using Porteus for a while many people find themselves spending more time inside Linux than do on their previous windows install. At some stage you can setup a dual booting machine!
Portable Linux 64-bit

Portable linux is now available in 64-bit. Fanthom has packed KDE4 into bite sized chunks and released yet another great version of this operating system with support for 64-bit machines. The 32-bit version is still being maintained, albeit a little slower.
