Multilib x64 Lite -- for Wine 32 apps

@Blaze, libtxc_dxtn-1.0.1-i586-1_slonly is already presented in the module. I don't understand why you added it again.

@Rava, I've just tested Blaze's nvidia script and it's working with neko's last kernel (5.2.1) and current Porteus 5 RC1 devel module :good:

Multilib x64 Lite -- for Wine 32 apps

I've just got a Nvidia card and I noticed that this multilib still lacks some libs. I'm working on it :good:

Porteus Kernel Builder

Part of your problem babam is using NTFS on a USB drive. NTFS is for hard drives. For flash drives use FAT, or exFAT if larger than 32 GB. NTFS is a journaling file system which creates extra IO when writing files. USB ports also aren't as fast as hard drives which doesn't help. This is simply not ...

Multilib x64 Lite -- for Wine 32 apps

@Ed_P, sorry if I wasn't clear. You still need Wine. In the past you need Wine and a big multilib module. I'm providing a lite version of this multilib module to be used with Wine so you can run Windows 32 bit apps. That's all. :) Regarding [packageName], I was just giving an example of how to add/r...

Multilib x64 Lite -- for Wine 32 apps

It's been a while since the last time I provided a multilib module for 32 bit apps. The idea is still the same: a module to allow you to run Windows x86 applications via Wine . So, just to recap: to run Windows 32 bit apps you need both Wine and a multilib module. While the usual multilib contains h...

@neko, another suggestion: you create a desktop file inside /usr/share/applications that doesn't ask for root privileges, so it doesn't work. What if you edit this desktop file and at the line where you call /usr/local/sbin/guimkKernel you change to: /opt/porteus-scripts/xorg/psu /usr/local/sbin/gui...

Is this enough?

Code: Select all

mount: /: mount point not mounted or bad option.

how we can make our scripts not to allow it. So in a sense glad that aufs itself fixes this
Really? I think quite the opposite! I think that Porteus has now an issue, hahaha!

But this used to work in the past. :( Try with Porteus 4, for instance. Even early builds of Porteus 5.

Here's the output:

@neko, I haven't tried 5.2rc7, but both 5.1.15 and 5.2rc6 have a problem with aufs so we can't activate a xzm module from a system folder (e.g. /home/guest).

Porteus v5.0rc1 problems

@nanZor, in order to fix the black screen issue, please try this module (put it inside porteus/base): https://www.mediafire.com/file/gbd3r5c5 ... 2.xzm/file

Let us know if it solves your problem :)
